Document Review
Existing declarations, product specifications, raw-material information and supplier documentation are reviewed and maintained as controlled inputs.
Documented quality, verifiable compliance and responsible manufacturing — supported by management systems, controlled policies, product declarations and independent technical verification.
Claims should be supported by evidence.
PPWR readiness at Olcan Kağıt is treated as an evidence-building process rather than a one-off declaration. We are aligning product documentation, material information, supplier evidence, traceability records and verification activities with Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on Packaging and Packaging Waste (PPWR) and the requirements affecting packaging placed on the European market.
Our current work covers material composition, recycled-fibre content, recyclability, food-contact suitability, intentionally added substances, selected chemical contaminants, mineral-oil residues, traceability and the technical documentation needed to substantiate product claims.
A substantial part of this evidence base is already in place: food-contact documentation, PFAS and recyclability declarations, recycled-fibre / deforestation documentation, batch-level traceability and independent laboratory analysis of key chemical and material parameters.
Our objective is to maintain a living technical file in which claims, declarations, supplier information, traceability records and verification evidence can be updated as PPWR requirements, implementing measures and customer expectations evolve.
Existing declarations, product specifications, raw-material information and supplier documentation are reviewed and maintained as controlled inputs.
Product use, target market, material composition and applicable PPWR/customer requirements are assessed to identify evidence gaps and verification priorities.
Where documentary evidence alone is insufficient, independent laboratory analysis or third-party verification is used to substantiate relevant claims and technical properties.
Declarations, specifications, laboratory reports, traceability records and supporting evidence are maintained within our management systems so that customer and regulatory documentation can be updated as requirements evolve.
A preventive verification process built into our quality system.
Incoming recycled paper, additives and supplier documentation are reviewed against defined requirements.
Chemical and material risks are identified according to product use, applicable requirements and technical documentation.
Selected parameters are periodically verified through qualified independent laboratories using recognised analytical methods.
Results are reviewed against applicable criteria. Non-conforming material, processes or results require investigation and corrective action before acceptance.
Our compliance programme goes beyond issuing declarations. Chemical and material risks relevant to molded fiber packaging are incorporated into our quality-management and verification processes.
Raw materials, supplier documentation and production inputs are reviewed against defined requirements, while selected parameters are periodically verified through independent laboratory analysis where appropriate.
Our objective is not simply to obtain a favourable test result, but to prevent undesirable or non-compliant substances from entering the production system in the first place. Where a raw material, process or analytical result does not meet the applicable requirement, it is investigated and corrective action is taken before acceptance.
This preventive approach forms part of the disciplined implementation of our quality and compliance management systems and is supported by controlled documentation, traceability and periodic review.
Some laboratory reports are subject to restrictions imposed by the issuing laboratory regarding reproduction, public distribution or advertising use. Relevant technical reports may therefore be made available to customers upon request, subject to those conditions.
Our declarations define the compliance position, material characteristics and intended use of specific Olcan Kağıt product groups. Each declaration applies only to the products, materials and conditions described within that document.
Our molded fiber egg cartons are intended for shell-egg packaging and our documentation references the applicable EU food-contact and Good Manufacturing Practice framework, supported by batch-level traceability.

Management-system certificates describe the certified scope of our operating systems. Manufacturer declarations document the relevant product, material and use conditions. Independent laboratory reports provide supporting technical evidence for the parameters covered by the relevant verification programme.
For product-, customer- or market-specific requirements, our team can confirm the most relevant certification, declaration and supporting technical documentation.
